#30 - Lily

The lily is one of the most popular and peaceful flowers that there is, and it’s symbol brings knowledge and wisdom into our lives. It is pictured as a long grassy stem, with several offshoots, and a couple of beautiful flowering blooms. There are also several buds generally pictured as a reminder that the lily blooms again and again over a very long period of time. This flower is often a symbol of serenity and grace. It may represent someone who’s calming and peaceful. The person may do yoga and may be spiritual, or may have great wisdom that has come from age.

A lily could be alluding to your parents or grandparents, a nursing home, or anything vintage or antique. The colors most often associated with this card are silvers and grays, unsurprisingly, the color of an elderly person’s hair. Health wise, it may be referring to the ailments that come with age, like loss of sight, loss of hearing, frail bones, moving slowly, and just general symptoms of becoming older. The timeframe for this card is often very slow. It may indicate that whatever is coming may not be coming quickly, or it may mean that the change will affect you for your entire lifetime.

#30

Thirty is the sum of the first four squares, and a pyramidal number. This makes sense because all of the other numbers that have come before it have led up to 30, just like all of the knowledge gained through our lives brings us through to the end of our life where we are the very wisest. It’s also the last day of the month in many months on the Gregorian calendar, September, April, June, and November. February 30th is a satirical sarcastic date that some people use to describe something that will never happen, this is similar to the lily in that it will be very slow coming.

#28 - Man

The man card pictures a man wearing a suit standing upright, and references that which is male, masculine, being born of the men’s gender, and having the man’s strengths. This card could indicate a man you know, such as your father, brother, husband, grandfather, boss, co-worker, son, or lover. It could be an ex-boyfriend or ex-lover as well. It could symbolize or personify the qualities typically associated with men, like strength, logic, locational, spatial, and directional ability. Men are traditionally seen as being poor at showing emotion but strong in body and mind. They can typically run faster and lift heavier amounts of weight than their female counterparts. Traditional households will have the man do the “masculine” tasks like killing bugs, taking out garbage, fixing things that are broken, hammering or hanging pictures, although these gender roles are changing in society certainly. The man card may still be referencing these traditional male stereotypes, or it may be reminding you that a little more strength is necessary in your personal life.

The man card typically indicates that something regarding a man important in our life will happen very soon. It could be a birth or death of a significant male. It could be a fight or proposal from a significant male. It could be news from a man or some kind of revelation about the man. You may learn news about the man, such as he is in love with you, or cheating on you.

Lily + Man

Because the Lily card can refer to great wisdom or spirituality, and the Man card can refer to literally a man in your life, these two cards together means that a man in your life will offer you wisdom that you should hold dear to your heart. This may change you and feed your soul in ways you did not know you needed. This may be a wise man, or it may be an older man, or some kind of father figure or teacher.

Numerology

The Lily is represented by the 30, and the Man is represented by the number 28. When we combine them we get the number 58. Since 58 isn’t a single digit number, we add the 5 + 8 to get the number 13. We must then add 1 + 3 to get the number 4.

The Number 4

Four is the number that represents a stable base. It’s required to have four sides when you’re making a box, or building a house of cards. You need four legs on your desk or table or chair. Four holds things up and keeps them together. You may double date in fours, but three is often considered a crowd. Five people results in a fifth wheel. Four is one of the most fundamental numbers that there can be, and without it, everything that we’ve built falls down. Four can also mean four days, four weeks, four months, four years. The musical artists Beyoncé and Jay-Z have done a lot of things according to the number 4, which is very important to them. Both of their birthdays are on the 4th, and their wedding anniversary is 4-4 — they even have IV wedding ring tattoos. Beyoncé also has an album named 4, and has released albums on dates with four or adding up to four. Jay Z just released an album called 4:44. Finally, their daughter Blue Ivy, is named a first name with 4 letters and a second name Ivy as a shout out to the roman numeral four. They are celebrities who strongly believe in the stable powers of the number 4, and apply it to build not only their careers, but also their family.
