#14 - Fox

Fox Lenormand: The Card in Five Words

  • Conniving
  • Suspicious
  • Deceptive
  • Selfish
  • Cautious

The Fox is a cunning little creative, determined to trick those around it, and lure them into a false sense of security. When revealed in a Lenormand reading, it displays an air of selfishness around it, engaging in the type of behavior that one might usually try to avoid. They are not honest, and they certainly are not fair, but they do what they can to survive, which may sound a little like you now.

Fox believes in natural selection, so he will cut corners, lie and deceive his way to the top if it means he succeeds at the end of it. It isn’t the most flattering of the Lenormand deck, but it is to surely be admired for its sheer tenacity in a world that can prove difficult to navigate at times.

Known for also being suspicious, Fox will never see the best in people, and will always wonder who or what is going to come for it next time. It tries to sometimes prove others wrong, but ultimately fails due to its lack of empathy and honesty. There is a strong representation of losing the self within this card, and the warning of you doing so if you pull it in a Lenormand reading.

#19 - Tower

Tower Lenormand: The Card in Five Words

  • Solitude
  • Isolation
  • Ignorance
  • Authoritative
  • Egotistical

The Tower Lenormand card stands taller than anything else around it, looking down on the land as if it is worth less simply because it’s smaller. This is because the card displays a little egotistical behavior, assuming that it can stand alone and cope with being so. Isolation is at the heart of its meaning, representing an energy unafraid and aloof in so many ways.

The Tower can stand for authoritative companies, such as the government or organizations that may appear to be a little intimidating. They aren’t about you or I, they are about an entirely different - higher and more exclusive - league. It is very interested in looking after itself, not too worried about anyone else who may be suffering within their space.

This can all too often ignite a little loneliness within the Tower card, but it is far too proud to admit to being so. As a result, Tower can throw resentment left, right and center, without any conscience. Those who are in its path can become hurt and pained.

Fox + Tower

Together, Fox and Tower don’t make the nicest, most trusting pair. They are entangled in a web of negativity, whether that be through lying or exerting their power over others in a way that turns people off. This meaning induces much ill feeling, struggling to maintain a healthy life balance.

Fox and Tower do not complement each other at all and are only destined to continue a level of mistrust in others. They are not an approachable pair, and symbolize a person not being interested in playing nice. Sadly, this can mean the consequences of drawing both together will mean a great deal of solitude - which you may want to be on the lookout for.

Numerology

Fox is represented in numerology as card number 14. and Tower is represented by the number 19. When we combine them we get the number 15. Since 15 isn’t a single digit number, we add the 1 + 5 to get the number 6.

The Number 6

In numerology, number 6 is considered to be the most powerful there is. Representing Venus, the Goddess of love, it symbolizes a happy ending through any misery, hardship or suffering one is currently experiencing. It is reflected deep into a person, so deep in fact that they are able to tap into a creative side of them they didn’t know existed.

Number 6 is powerful, but it involves the person who draws it to find their own. This is ultimately a challenge for those who are lost in the midst of despair or suffering of others, but because of its power, gives a sense of magic and hope to those who may need it the most.
