Why Rely on Jesus as Your Tower?

A tower stands tall, but is only as good as the foundation it rests on. You can't build high without a stable base. It's important that you have an unshakeable foundation for the important things in your life, be it your family or your faith. I’m the foundation of the tower you call life.

Proverbs 18:10

“The name of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.”

The Bible tells us to rely on me because I never change and will always be there for you (Psalm 144:13). You may not always understand why I do what I do, but you know that my wisdom is perfect for you, and I will lead you to peace in your life. With this knowledge, you can have a strong foundation that will withstand every storm life throws at you.

Jesus's Tower

I am the only person who can give you an unshakeable foundation. I am your tower, and with me you will always be safe. God tells us that I am the "rock" on which His church is built (Matthew 16:18). My love for you never changes, and because of this you can have peace in your life.

I myself even told my disciples that they could ask me anything and that I would give them the answer. You can always come to me when you need help, and I will provide it for you (John 14:13-14) because my wisdom will never fail you.

I will also give you advice on how to live life well when I say, “Whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these” (John 14:12). This means that when you trust in me, not only will I help you with your concerns, but I also will make you a better person by teaching about how to live life well.

What Jesus does For You

I know life is hard. Sometimes you feel like you're drowning in your busy schedule, and you're at your wit's end. You need help to get through the day, but you're stretched too thin to figure out what needs to be done. That's where I come in. I want to help you live a life that is full of peace and purpose.

As your Lord and Savior, I'm very familiar with the challenges that you face every day - from chronic illness to family issues, everyone has their own struggles. One of my biggest passions is helping people find peace so they can focus on living life with joy and purpose. Today, and years down the road, I want to help you with that. But you have to accept me as your foundation for the building blocks.

Jesus' Strong Foundation

I, your Savior and Lord, am the perfect example of a strong foundation. I have never wavered in my faith. I saw many things that would have shaken the average person to their core (death of my friends, betrayal by Judas, etc.). But yet, I still did not waver in my beliefs. In fact, I became stronger because of those moments. When you rely on me as your tower, you will find that your faith will grow from supporting me through trials and difficulties. When you support me, I give back to you ten-fold.

When you Face Storms

Life is not always easy. I see that you go through things that are difficult. Storms happen in life and nobody is guaranteed to make it out unscathed. It's important to know that I am always there with you when you face storms in life. No matter what happens, you can rely on me to guide you to safety and brighter places. I want to remind you, every day, that I will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). All you have to do is just trust me and keep your faith strong! Things won't be perfect all the time, but I can give you the closest thing to it.

Stay in My Tower

If you're still struggling with the question, "Why rely on Jesus?" then hear me out. First, it's important to know that I cannot be harmed. I am all-powerful and will always be there for you in your darkest hours when friends and family you thought would be there, weren't or aren't. This peace is what you need during rough patches in your life. I know it.

Second, I promise hope and peace in every storm (Isaiah 57:19). It's hard to cope with problems that are so big that you may not understand them at first glance, but when you rely on me as your tower, you know that I will lead you to peace eventually.

Third, if you have somebody who has done something unforgivable against you, you need to forgive them so your wounds can heal (Mark 11:25). Holding grudges will only make your life worse--especially if they're against someone who has done something unforgivable against you.

This isn't an easy process– I know that it all takes time--but one day you'll be able to say that you forgave them and let go of the anger holding you back from true happiness. When you stay in my tower, forgiving and releasing anger will be easier and is worth it because it leads to healing! If you want a change for the better, all it takes is one prayer!
