Rescue, recovery and relief workers have a very tough time when catastrophe strikes. Here is a prayer you can use to ask God to help them:

Dear God

I am praying to You today not for myself but for the rescue, recovery and relief workers.

They are working around the clock to make sure everyone is safe after this catastrophe.

Please be with each and every one of them as they risk their own lives to save others.

Thank you for keeping me safe, but please keep them safe too.

They are worth more than they realize.
