Being bitter is not a nice feeling, it makes you no fun to be around too. You can use this prayer to rid yourself of bitterness: Your joy is my strength.

Dear God

Your joy is my strength.

Help me to remember to always rejoice in You.

Please help me to let go of bitterness.

Help me to forgive those who have wronged me.

Like You forgive me every time I wrong You.

Help me to find the courage to love and pray for the ones who hurt me.

Please give me peace in my heart.

Thank you, Jesus.
