Prayer to be free from Jealousy

Jealousy is one of the biggest sins you can commit. If you find that you’re jealous you can use this prayer to help set you free from sin:

Dear God

You have said “you shall not covet…”

It’s not easy not to be jealous in a world that is so focussed on things.

I need to learn to be content with what I have

But I can’t do this in my strength, Lord.

Only in Your strength can I overcome this.
Help me to become grateful for all the many blessings.

To praise You for all that You’ve given me.

To remember Your gift of eternal life.

And not to be jealous of others.
