Prayer of help them find forgiveness

When someone isn’t very forgiving, they become bitter and resentful towards everyone around them. If you know someone like that you can use this prayer to help them, find forgiveness for themselves:

Dear God

I can see that (Name) has been through a lot in their lives.

It shows because they have started to not trust anyone around them.

They are bitter and resentful towards everyone as if they just want to push people away.

Please help them to learn to forgive others for the wrongs they have done.

Please allow love back into their hearts.

I know they are an amazing person if only they would let go of the bitterness.

They deserve to find forgiveness so that they can let go of the hurt that others have caused them.
