Prayer that people forgive you for your sin to them

When you’ve wronged someone, you need to ask for forgiveness. But sometimes they don’t want to forgive you on the spot. Here is a prayer you can use when you’re in that situation:

Dear God

I’ve asked (Name) to forgive me but they aren’t and it’s making me feel even worse.

I know what I did was wrong and I am trying to change.

But it’s difficult to make sure that it will never happen again and I think that’s what they’re afraid of.

They’re afraid I’ll go and make the same mistake again.

Please help me not to make the same mistake again.

Please help me to be forgiven by them so that our relationship can go back to the way it was before.
