Prayer That You Would Love Your Neighbors

Loving your neighbors is one of God’s commandments. If you’re having trouble with this commandment, you can ask God for help by using this prayer. It will ask God to help you love your neighbors:

Dear God

You have instructed us to love our neighbors.

Help me to remember that it includes:

My neighbor who doesn’t look like me.

My neighbor who doesn’t worship like me.

My neighbor who doesn't love like me.

And my neighbor who doesn’t speak the same language as me.

Help me to remember that the person living next to me could be You.
