It’s no secret that Easterners have been advocating conscious awareness for centuries. And they have a good point regarding it. The more aware you are of the patterns you keep repeating, the more aware you are of the things you might still be clinging onto.
In a way you are like a brewing storm. There is a lot of humidity and pressure building up but you can decide whether you want to become a tropical storm, or a gentle mist. You can decide if the winds of change blow like a hurricane or a gentle breeze.
Sure, we all face horrendous trauma in our lives. And sure it has a major impact on us, but think about animals in the wild for a minute. The chances that they get cancer are close to zero. Why? Because animals only live in the now. They react and live out their emotions as they happen. For example, if a deer gets a fright, it runs until all the adrenalin has left its body.
On the other hand, humans don’t do that. We tend to try and suppress our emotions as a sign of strength. And guess what, those emotions get stuck in our subconscious and “energy bodies”.
The result is that we keep running in our minds, but our bodies never take the physical action. And all that pent up energy then becomes stuck inside us, with no-where to go. And that’s what causes dis-ease.
But the Emperor has come along with a blessing today - He’s here to remind you that you are in charge of your emotions. You can choose to cling onto them, or you can choose to let them go. Of course, you will need a good outlet to really let go of that deep-seated trauma that keeps you trapped in the generational curses that keep making problems for you
So, instead of sitting on the couch and worrying about your life today, try getting out there and doing some grounding exercises. I could tell you to do yoga, walk around bare-foot, grab the dusty foam roller in the back of your cupboard, or make your favorite comfort food - but really you should decide what to do for yourself. Whatever brings you inner bliss is what you should be focusing on today.
Sure, the dishes might be piling up and your laundry pile might be the size of the Himalayas - but trust me, you aren’t going to get where you want to be if you keep running around trying to fit the mold of what you think you should be. Why? Because that picture of what you think you should be is largely based on what your parents or guardians thought. That isn’t really YOU.
Make today about YOU, and soon you’ll find the inner strength to become the Emperor of your own life again. Don’t fight any emotions that might come up. Instead, let your instincts guide you - just like your instincts brought you here today. You know what’s right for you. So stop fighting yourself just because things aren’t working out the way you’d hoped. Learn your lesson and move on.
