Oh, those awful pangs you can feel in the pit of your stomach are truly the signal that things are inconsequentially wrong, aren't they? Nothing is more intuitive than your gut letting you know what's going on, and who are we to disagree with or challenge them? After all, they are physically demanding of our attention, as they feel almost too much to bear at times. Giving us those inclinations that we ought to think about what is going on can mean we are offering our thoughts up to our angels, who see uncomfortable feelings and off intuition as a good way of warning us that we are heading away from the usual safe and warm securities we have come to know.

Don't Mistake Illnesses for Butterflies

What we are gliding towards when we feel those uneasy pains or flutters in our tummy isn't love or excitement – far from it. In fact, what we feel and know to be true, is that the stomach is spiritually connected to the same place in our bodies physically, so often if we are about to get sick with stomach flu or sudden nausea, we will pick up on brief sparks of heaviness before we need to relieve ourselves.

Nausea can strike at any time. Imagine becoming struck down by a bug when you are in the shops, or in the middle of an interview or meeting? Imagine you are on a train, attempting to go out for the day, or commuting home from work, and the carriage is packed. You can't even spot the toilet, but you feel that horrible feeling rising from the pit of your stomach. It's safe to say that there isn't much worse than knowing you need to be sick but have nowhere to dash to.

Go Off Somewhere and Hide

If you are feeling unwell, or your tummy feels uncomfortable, the best thing you can do is retreat and find a place where you can be alone in case you need to be physically unwell. It could be something you ate, or in fact, haven't eaten. When we forget to eat, our stomach wonders what is wrong, so assume something isn't right, and we can frequently be physically unwell because of it. Equally, if something has been cooked incorrectly, or is an off piece of food that you ingest, you will fully understand that the reason you are unwell is because you met with it.

Being alone with tummy pains or the intuition that your tummy is stirring in a way that is going to mean you need to find a bathroom is the best way to handle a nasty situation. Don't feel rushed or pressured to be anywhere other than lying on your own bed if that's what is going to help you, because what good will you be if you are off doing too much, knowing this incoming disaster is looming ahead of you? Not much, that's for sure.

Time Out – Breathe and Let it Out

Now isn't the time to question much, just know that your angels don't want you to get caught short. They want to know you are looking after yourself, and if you happen to feel unwell, you must listen to that gut feeling (literally), and find a place of sanctuary, drink lots of water, and allow the illness or sensation to pass naturally. Eventually it will, and you can get back to your usual errand running life, but for now, know that it's okay to stop in one place and simply pause until the storm of uncertainty has safely passed.

Wellness Feels Impossible – But it Can Be Achieved

Those uncomfortable feelings will be the first little niggling sensation you get to inform you of an unpleasant experience ahead. Try to breathe through it and understand that your angel's warning sign has actually in some way helped you, by preventing you from potentially being in the middle of something very important and needing to dash off to avert disaster. Thank your lucky stars on this occasion that you have been rewarded with a little warning prior to the incoming sickness you are about to endure. Time and patience, and you will soon see it pass.
