When friendships turn icy, it could be due to disagreements taking place. The sad reality of some friendships and bonds is that they break due to natural circumstances. Whether that be through the simple process of ageing, and changing priorities, or sometimes we offer news that our friends might not want to hear, such as a new friendship blooming with someone else, or we might decide to move away. Whatever the reason may be, ice can freeze what you once considered to be a special connection, and that leaves us feeling sad and a little empty inside, as we come to realize a friendship is becoming nothing but a mere memory.
You might try to think of ways to make it better and bridge the gaps that have appeared between you and your friend, but if their intentions are to create icy situations or feelings, then there isn't much you can do about it. It's a simple fact of life that friendships fade, and people change, and without fully ever knowing why, some just end altogether. Before you know it, you walk down the street and see them, and it's no different to seeing a stranger. It's heartbreaking really, but it happens, and there's no control to be had over it.
Think of The Bigger Picture
Maybe this is all meant to be for the greater good, but your angels know the pain felt by any friendship becomes icy and inevitably ends. How did things get like this?
