Stillness Invokes Stillness
When the wind dies down and leaves no leaf with the ability to rustle, it’s as if someone has turned nature off, just for a split second. Even on the blusteriest of days, the wind can come screeching to a halt for a brief period, invoking a period of calm and tranquility that almost works as a rest button for us. Have you ever experienced something so unexplained, and if so, what has crossed your mind during those blissfully quiet few seconds? Usually, it serves as a warning sign for our angels to expect the unexpected, especially in the near future.
When the trees stop swaying in the relentless gusts that have taken over the day, and they settle down for what looks to be a pause in time, this is prime time to look around you, because often your angels treat this warning sign as the ‘calm before the storm.’ You might be laughing to yourself thinking that the storm has already started, but your angels know better, and they see real trouble up ahead. Whatever you are expecting to happen, or even planning to happen, you are to assume the opposite is going to actually be the case.
Nothing Will Go to Plan
If you are intending on going on a vacation any time soon - expect delays. Road accidents, lane closures, diversions - these are all likely to affect your travel time and could even leave you stranded on a blocked road for hours, missing crucial connections or check-in times. A simple solution would be to try and always have some kind of navigation system on, so that you can easily take a different route if you need to. It won’t always be your savior of course - but it could help every now and then.
If you are expecting a romantic gesture from your partner, that isn’t going to happen either. Yes, you might be longing for a romantic, moonlit stroll along the beach, or a cozy, intimate dinner for two at your favorite restaurant, but you’re unlikely to see any of this become your reality because they are simply too busy to spend time with you, and they are going to find the most callus way of letting you know. This will take you by surprise, but there won’t be much you’ll be able to do about it, so the best thing is just to nod and smile and hope for the best next time.
Grab This Brief Moment of Stillness
When winds drop outside, stillness is introduced to your world, albeit briefly, but it is enough time to notice how the unexpected can stop you in your tracks, as if you are almost awaiting something terrible. You see the movies where all the peril stops, and suddenly something catastrophic makes its way onto the screen, well this is exactly the same. It’s as if our angels want us to brace ourselves for the moments to come, but this random act could never prepare us for what we are about to experience.
A Still Warning You Can’t Explain
Have you ever thought that your angels actually want you to be still for a moment? Could it be that they want to see you stop what you are doing, because what you are doing to them is utterly ridiculous? Are you about to sign something that will result in total failure? Are you en route to the date from hell that you will come to regret for the rest of your life? Are you about to text an ex that doesn’t deserve another second of your time? If you have your mind set on one thing, you are being told to expect the opposite, and not much is going to prepare you for that.
At least with a small window of stillness, you are able to clear your mind and really think about what it means to have the time to silently think about your next move, rather than dive in and be unpleasantly surprised. Nothing can prepare you for what lies ahead, but your angels can alter the wind around you to deliver their warning message. Angels are clever and fierce masses of energy that will always have your best interests at heart.
