I, Thomas Edison, speak with you with a heart full of joy and encouragement, hoping to share a little piece of wisdom that has guided my own adventures in the world of invention. There's a better way to do it - Find it, is my own quote, and I use it when I want people to know that you don’t just have to think about doing something one way - especially if that way doesn’t work. These words are not just a saying but a guiding star that can light up your journey and make it exciting.
Imagine a world where every challenge you face is a chance for you to find a better way to do something. I like to look at problems as puzzles that need solving, and if a piece doesn’t fit, I look for where it does. I don’t stop until the puzzle is complete, and only then will I see how my work and bravery to never stop was worth it.
When you see a problem that you can’t find a solution for - it’s time to look at it from another angle. Sometimes, spinning the problem and seeing it differently helps you understand it more, and in understanding, you can solve it far better than if you didn’t explore new ways. Don't be sad if the pieces of your puzzle don't fit right away, just have patience and let it all happen the way it was supposed to.
Never stop searching for the best way to achieve what you set out to do. If something doesn't seem right, it's probably because there's a much better, clearer way to do it. Be creative, think outside the box, and never let anyone tell you that you can’t, because you can, and you should. Challenges are nothing but steppingstones to your dreams. Use them to help you see the many ways there are to do what matters.
Sometimes, you might need to step out of your comfort zone in order to find a better way to do something. If you are entering new waters, don’t be afraid of them. Soon enough, they will be familiar to you, and it will give you the confidence to find a better way to open your mind and let the knowledge and information in. Don't be afraid to try new things and to take risks. It’s called experimenting, and it is worth it to find out how many ways there are to do something important to you.
Think of each challenge you face as an adventure, and every problem as a mystery waiting to be solved. Be like a detective, and always search for clues. Never give up until you uncover the truth and are happy with what you find. You have an incredible power within you - the power to always search and always want better things.
