I want to talk with you about what it means to ignore the rules sometimes, especially when it comes to being creative. Creativity doesn’t belong in a box, and there should never be rules surrounding it because it isn’t meant to fit and suit one person.
How you view creativity is different to how I view it, therefore, why do you have rules at all? This quote means a lot to me, because it means people should stand up and be thoughtful about their own creative side, and how to always seek ways to improve it. The words that echo in my mind are like a free spirit, wanting to escape and be free.
I've often found myself not liking strict rules, and that goes beyond the boundaries of creativity. I like to see what already is, and question why we can’t push for more. Do you ever feel that way? Do you ever wonder why we can’t just think and act a little more freely, but still be good people? If we are to achieve something amazing, then we shouldn’t let rules stand in our way.
Wanting something so badly should be enough, without the worry of rules being in the way. The desire to have what you want, for progress, for your dreams to come true, is a force that should mean rules don’t and shouldn’t exist. In my own journey, I have seen the power of determination breaking down the barriers that were put up by people trying to keep rules alive.
My friend, rules can keep us trapped and put a lid on our imagination. Do you want that? They are often made with the kindest of minds, but they make everything stiff and strict. Creativity is not about strictness, but instead about a colorful flow of being who you want to be.
Rules can sometimes stop us moving forward. They can block our path, because someone put them there many years ago. As we see creativity as a beautiful thing, we can then see that the rules blocking us are there for no reason at all. If rules are in your way, ask yourself if they really need to be there, or can you do something wonderful without them?
I believe that rules in the past need looking at, because they aren’t always going to fit in with today. What do you think? Staying tied to the rulebook means there isn’t much space for exploring exciting ideas that can show off our creative talents.
Accomplishing, or achieving something should be something we all celebrate. You are you and there is nobody else quite like you. Looking at rules is an invitation to delete the limits of what has always been. Embrace you, and all your creativity!

The quote, sent to inspire my many, by Thomas Edison: There are no rules here -- we're trying to accomplish something, looks at how we must break the rules, or fail to acknowledge them sometimes if we are to grow and find new ways to do things.
There are limits to thinking the ceiling is the limit as opposed to the sky, and in thinking this way, nothing new can be born, and no new concepts can be given room to breathe and grow. To accomplish something is to do something well that you wanted to do, and to have those goals set in the hearts of those who need inspiration themselves.
The quote means to let go, to see what the world has to offer when you aren’t looking at what you aren’t allowed to do, and to make sure everything you do to support that is worth it and keeps your values and passion alive and kicking.
