As I, Thomas Edison, write down these words, my heart feels like it is swelling with gratitude, pride, and connection with you. You are starting a challenging journey of discovery, meaning you are looking for ways to succeed. I find comfort in knowing that they believe in my quote - I have not failed. ed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work - it is going to change lives.
If there’s one thing, I’ve learned through all my experiences, it’s that failure is but a steppingstone to success. If you want something, you might not get it the first time around, and that’s how I see it. It is a journey, to get to where you want to be, you must work through things that don’t. You can, like me, learn lessons along the way. To me, failure is not an end, it’s how we move away from what we want, but we can all find our way back with ease.
I have always thought that to fail is not to try at all. Think about it, if you had a dream that you let die in your mind, why even bother having the dream at all? Where will you end up if you just allow it to disappear? You can transform the world by keeping your dream alive, because if you don’t or can’t, you are going to see what real failure is, and how bad it is for you and for your heart.
Persistence is how to achieve. Persistence means to never give up, no matter what. If you fall down, get back up. The longer you stay down, the longer it will take to get to where you want to be. Determination will help you push boundaries, and to keep going, even if those around you doubt you. If you have found thousands of ways that don’t work, that means you are close to finding a way that does work.
When you find yourself in a place where you want to let go of your dreams and goals, think about why you started in the first place. They meant something to you, and they sit in your heart, wanting to come alive. You are in control of that, and even if you at first do not succeed, you must try and try again until you learn everything you need to know. Every time you experience a setback, learn from it.
To follow your dreams is to begin a journey that doesn’t understand what impossible means. It requires you to refuse to give up or know what your limits are. There are always ways to succeed, and if you are strong inside, you will make sure you get to your goal. I myself know what it means to feel like you’re going round in circles, but you can, like me, break the cycle.
Facing failure is an option. You can view it how you want, but there is no good that comes from viewing every setback as a sign you should give up. Be challenged. Allow yourself the idea that what is coming to you will come when it is ready, not when you are ready.
“To prepare to fail is to prepare for a recipe of pure failure. If you throw the towel in, you’ll never know. Is that something you can live with? Keep trying, keep pushing for your dreams.”

It signals that failure is not the end, but certainly the start of the end if you allow it to be. It is supposed to inspire and keep you pushing forward. Be determined in your space and allow all the time you to find something that didn’t work to be lessons learned.
