Prayer for peace of mind in midst of storm

Storms can be terrifying too. Especially when there’s a lot of lighting and thunder. You can use this prayer to ask God for peace of mind:

Dear God

There is a massive storm approaching and I’m scared out of my mind.

I know we need the rain, but the lightning and thunder always make me scared.

Please help me to stay calm as the storm passes.

Please let the wind and lightning go away as quickly as possible.

Please keep me and my family safe and sound inside our home.

I know it’s all part of nature, so please help me to enjoy it as much as I can.
