Having a panic attack can come on suddenly. You might not be aware of what’s going to trigger you. But you can use this prayer to help soothe the attack when it happens:
Dear God
My heart is racing and I’m struggling to breathe.
That means I’m having a panic attack.
I’ve been triggered and the thoughts are racing through my mind.
Please help me to calm down and breathe again.
Please let this overwhelming feeling pass so that I can deal with the problem and get on with my life.
