Seeing a friend suffer is never nice. With this prayer you can ask God to be with your friend who is suffering. You don’t have to know the whole story to use this prayer either. As long as you can see your friend suffering this prayer will do the trick:

Dear God

I can see that (Name) is going through a tough time.

They haven’t told me all the details of their suffering but I know it’s bad.

Please be with them as they go through this tough time.

I want to be there for them but I can’t be there if I don’t know what’s wrong.

So please be their pillar of strength and give them comfort as they go through this difficult time.

They need someone to lean on and to give them strength to overcome this obstacle.

Please be that someone for them.
