Surrendering is one of the most difficult things to do. If you’re struggling to surrender to God’s will you can use this prayer to affirm that you are ready to surrender to Him:

Dear God

I know I can be stubborn sometimes and that I don’t always listen to Your will.

Please help me to have faith that you have the best intentions for me.

I need to learn to trust in your Divine Plan for me.

Thank you for taking me down the right road, even though it isn’t always easy.

Please help me not to be tempted by the easy road.

I want to follow in Your footsteps.
