Prayer for sins to be forgiven

When you pray for your sins to be forgiven it’s important to remember that you are only human and that Jesus has died for your sins. But it’s also important to say sorry for what you’ve done and really mean it. You can use this prayer to do just that:

Dear God

I’ve really messed up this time and I’m so sorry for what I’ve done.

I (insert sin here) and it has really taken its toll on me.

I don’t know what came over me.

Sorry that I committed such a sin.

I promise to try my best to stop doing things like that.

I’m only human and sometimes I make mistakes.

Please forgive me for what I’ve done and lead me back to the path of righteousness.
