#6 - Clouds

Clouds Lenormand: The Card in Five Words

  • Distortion
  • Doubt
  • Confusion
  • Secrecy
  • Insecurity

Sure, as the clouds in the sky shroud our view of the sun and the everlasting beautiful, blue sky, Clouds as a card represents something incredibly similar. The card itself acts as a veil between your thoughts and your ideal outcome to a situation, and whatever is hidden is going to act as an unpleasant presence in your life. This rouses elements of doubt and confusion as you try to tackle the problem head on.

The Cloud card can lead to moments where you are drastically unsure of yourself. The choices you make may seem alright at the time, but in hindsight never appear to be the correct ones, and it’s as if you don’t know whether you are coming or going. There don’t seem to be too many people helping you either, which adds to your distorted view.

Clouds constantly change and never stay the same for long enough to get used to, so this causes unsettling within the soul, and as you are experiencing the same kind of change, you don’t know where to place your heart, or where to call home. This is where misunderstandings can come into play if you aren’t careful.

#8 - Coffin

Coffin Lenormand: The Card in Five Words

  • Endings
  • Death
  • Loss
  • Grief
  • Sadness

The Coffin is a card that represents death as being the ending of something that has played a huge part in your life. Often mistaken for the physical death of a person, it acts as the closing of a book that you don’t want to put down. You enjoyed the story so much that you wish you could read it all over again, but you can’t. The time has come, with the Death card, so place your feelings aside, and move on.

Grief hits us in many ways, and it isn’t in just the passing of a loved one that we need to create spaces to relive lost parts of ourselves or look to the past as a huge loss of our present life. This is where you are truly exposed, vulnerable to the sadness and desolation that comes with parting ways with a special chapter.

Endings can occur within our states of mind, or through a relationship that has been of value to you. Suffering can come from having to say goodbye, and our wishes or emotions may be pulling us back to them, when in fact, there is nothing you can do about it. This releases such deep pain and sorrow that often, Death will show up and remind you that every end can signal a new beginning.

Clouds + Coffin

Clouds and Coffin combine when you need to rethink what your priorities are surrounding a loss. They recognize your pain, they sense your burden and understand the weight of your sadness, but they also - when together - ask you to see what this is all doing to you and your wellbeing.

Half of you want to move on, and the other half is stuck in the notion that you really loved the space you were in before it ended. This is a tricky place to reside, because one cannot remain there forever and stay healthy. Together, Clouds and Coffin are showing you that something important to you has ended, and that your confusion is beginning to eat you up. This may also cause problems with your sleep pattern.

Numerology

Clouds is represented in numerology as card number 6. and Coffin is represented by the number 8. When we combine them we get the number 14. Since 14 isn’t a single digit number, we add the 1 + 4 to get the number 5.

The Number 5

If there was ever a time to apply your logic to a situation, it would be when numerology number 5 reveals itself. It is rooting for you and wants to see justice prevail. This means that any difficult or trying time in your life is going to have an eventual good outcome, but what you need to do is understand that it lies within you.

Linked strongly to the planet Mercury, the number 5 is about being rational, and understanding that it’s okay to be sad, but to stay there for a prolonged period is going to cause huge detrimental effects to you, which you should be keen to avoid. 5 signals positive thinking, which you are being encouraged to apply.

Action Items for Today

Set aside some time to be sad, and know that during this time, sadness belongs to you, and you to it. If you can strike this balance of using the time to feel everything you need to feel and setting it aside for the rest of the day, the rest of your time can be well spent doing things for you that are good for your soul.

Affirmation

I feel my pain, whilst remaining aware of a positive outcome.
