Are you worried about other people’s expectations of you? Are you worried about how you’ll never reach your dreams? Are you running in survival mode? What exactly is it that’s making your heart beat out of your chest and your breath catch in your throat?

Watch Frozen if you have to. The truth is you are clinging onto trauma and that’s why you aren’t happy. But the Three of Swords shows that you are ready to start the healing process. You’re ready to let go of all the trauma and pain that’s in your body.

Now is the time to start taking care of yourself. To shed the you that operates from a place of fear and pain. Learn to love yourself again. Learn to let go of the pain other people have caused you. You are where you are thanks to your own decisions. What you do from here on out is all on you.

But don’t focus on the future right now. If you really want to heal you have to stay focused on the present moment. You have to do what feels right to you right now. Your life is on the precipice of major change. But to get the most out of that change you need to work on healing your past wounds and taking care of the business you’re faced with now. The future isn’t going to happen all at once. The main thing you need to focus on now is your health and well-being.

The Road to Happiness

You aren’t going to get there all at once. You need to take your time and work through everything that’s caused you to lose sight of the truth. What is that truth? That you’re the only one to blame for the situation you’re in.

This might be a bit harsh, but that trauma you’ve been blaming - it isn’t what’s caused the trouble in your life. Your reaction to that trauma is what’s causing you to do things that attract even more negativity into your life.

Right now you need to focus on fixing those broken patterns that are busy causing you to sabotage yourself. You need to use the techniques and tactics that help you focus your energy on doing good in your life. This can be anything from creating a good daily routine to going to see a therapist.

You know where you’re at. You know what you need. So listen to that inner voice that’s telling you what you should and shouldn’t be doing - instead of just giving in to your drives and doing whatever feels good in the moment. A little bit of self-control will go a very long way right now.
