But that doesn’t bother him. In fact, if you look at that glowing halo behind him he sees the world for what it truly is. And he’s quite happy to just hang there and observe.
So, what’s his message for you? Well, it’s time for you to look at the world in a different way. Have you been seeing all the negativity in the world and wondering how you’ll ever be able to get things done if all that’s happening is bad? Or maybe you’re struggling to figure out what your next steps should be to get where you want to be? The Hanged Man is saying - don’t worry about any of that too much. All you need is a good old change of perspective - because you’re already exactly where you need to be.
It might feel like your life has done a 180 and that you’re living upside down at the moment. But that’s quite normal. It’s the Universe’s way of letting you know that it’s time to change your perspective. It’s not that you’re doing things wrong, or that you missed some crucial step. It’s just time to change things up a bit. But right now you need to change the way you look at the world.
If you think about the number twelve as a one and a two - you now have the chance to double your understanding and intuition about your life and dreams - and the way you view the world around you. The Hanged Man is actually a very good omen for your life. But you will have to change the way you look at things to unlock your true potential and take those leaps forward in your life. And to do that you need to stay still for a little while and just look at how things are happening in your life.
If you can silence your mind and stop making snap judgements - so really think about things before you act - you will start to unlock your true potential. And with the twelve or three energy of the Hanged Man that’s a lot of creative and divine potential you’re about to unlock!
The key is to trust your intuition - but not to let your experience cloud your judgment. There’s a lot of old energy and thought patterns you need to let go of right now to make the best decisions for your life. You need to realize which trauma responses you’re still clinging onto. And these trauma responses might be really silly when you realize what they are. For example you may have stubbed your toe in the middle of an argument one day and now every time you wear a certain pair of shoes and your toe gets sore you tend to become a bit feisty.
Never underestimate the power of your subconscious thought. It can influence your life in a great number of ways. It can make you act out of character in the most bizzare ways. And then you create drama for yourself when you really don’t need it. But that’s what makes this card so great. You have a chance to clear your subconscious trauma responses right now. As long as you keep a keen eye on your own reactions and behaviors you’ll be able to figure out what you’re doing that isn’t really you.
And as soon as you figure out what you are and what you aren’t you’ll be more authentic in your everyday life. And the more authentic you are in your everyday life the more creatively you’ll be able to tackle the obstacles you’re currently facing. In fact, you’ll soon start to realize that the obstacles you think you’re facing are all just a part of the way you used to be. When you change the way you look at the world, you change and the world changes. Everything changes when you open your mind to new possibilities.
The key is not to be too hasty with yourself right now. You are going to make some mistakes. Some things will be more difficult to let go of than others. But always keep in mind that the Hanged Man has it a whole lot worse than you do - and he’s happy with his life just the way it is. The more you accept who you are and where you’re at, the easier it will become for you to change the way you look at the world and for everything to fall in divine order.
