The dove, as a symbol of flight, is an ideal indication of the growth and development that we are going to experience in the nearest possible future.
A person grows in several aspects of their life. Spiritual, mental, and physical growth is the most common faculties of personal growth. Each of these faculties is influenced by factors that we'll discuss further in this section.
Personal Growth and Self-development
A person's life is an endless circle. We continuously go through phases right from the moment we are born. Now, it is expected that we leave each phase a better person than we were before it. Personal growth entails so many factors. We must strive to be better and do better. Make life a competition, but in this case, your opponent is who you were yesterday.
Be hungry for growth and development as though your worth were tied to it because it is. People who are constantly obsessing over their personal growth are reportedly happier, more successful, and more fulfilled than those who are content with mediocrity.
When you're developing as a person, you'll notice that you no longer fret about the things that used to bother you, because you now have a better perception of things. You no longer lash out at those around you because you now have a better grip over your emotions. Or, it might be that you're more disciplined and determined than you used to be.
Self-development is a never-ending phase, when you achieve a milestone, you begin to hunger for the next. Luckily, there is barely a limit to what we can become if we set our minds to it. When we work hard enough and are about to move to the next phase, the divine realm sends us a dove to tell us that all that hard work is about to pay off.
Keep doing new things
Get more creative with your experiences and practices. Visit new places, try your hands at more things, meet new people, and find more treasures. You don't necessarily have to go to another continent to have new experiences, it could just be something different from the usual.
Invest time and effort into making these new ventures and experiences bloom. Try out as many new things as possible so you can find at least two that catch your fancy and stick with them. There's a saying that you may never know who you are if you don't keep trying out new things.
Trying new things keeps your life's journey interesting and thrilling all through. The best part is that you can go through these new adventures solo and have just as much fun as you would with the company. You may even be too enthused with the experience that you forget the comfort of company.
Unleash your inner curiosity and become driven by the need to know and see more. The feeling of delight and accomplishment at the end of each ordeal is unmatched. There may be hurdles during the process, but it'll be worth it in the end.
Rediscover yourself
As children, we all had this inner joy and happiness that was unmatched. Then adulthood came with all of its troubles and sapped away our joy. Luckily, even as adults, we can regain that feeling of happiness that we once had.
Take time off and rediscover yourself. Remember all that used to matter and bring you happiness. When you rediscover yourself, you let go of all negativity that came into your life to take away your joy.
Visualize the kind of person you would like to be and make an effort to become that person. We know it's easier said than done, but the earlier you get started on the process, the better. And, the best part is, the divine realm is fully in support of your journey, look, they even sent you a dove.
Change your social circle
If you're surrounded by people who do not allow you to move forward and experience growth, this is a cue to find new friends. The people you give your time and energy to should be worth it. Invest only in people who have the same value as you do. This will pay off and shape you into a much better individual.
