The presence of a dove is a sign that you have broken free from the shackles of whatever was causing the mental or physical setbacks you were experiencing. If you've been feeling insecure about any aspect of your life, here's your cue to calm down and strengthen your faith in the sovereign beings in charge of your safety.

Also, if you have been yearning for independence, freedom from limitation, or expansion, the dove is your cue that the divine realm has approved your request. All you have to do now is make physical steps to fully acquire this independence or freedom that you seek.

Another narrative might be that you are stifling another person that the divine realm cares about. The message here is for you to give them the space and comfort that they deserve and you would also get the same.

Whenever a bird of any kind senses danger in its immediate environment, it impulsively takes to the sky to escape whatever harm is brewing. Now, the divine realm sends us a dove to represent our ability to also escape from whatever is making us feel insecure.

The freedom that the dove represents can as well be linked to rebirth. Once we are free from our current limitations, we would no doubt be faced with a new phase. We would have the opportunity to experience regeneration, growth, and expansion.

We may have the backing of the spiritual realm, but this is not to say that they are completely responsible for the transformation. We also have a part to play. Here are a few of them:

Forgive yourself

Your growth may be stopped because you are harboring regrets or pains from past trauma, especially if you were responsible for the occurrence of actions that triggered these feelings.

The first step to letting go is to forgive yourself for past mistakes that landed you in your current situation. Reconciling with yourself allows you to grow and expand your thoughts.

Think of the mistake as an opportunity to learn and make a resolve never to repeat it. Shut down all criticizing thoughts that are prompting you to tag yourself as the bad guy. Acknowledge your faults out loud, then tell yourself you have forgiven yourself.

Create a mental image of yourself as pure and free from guilt. If there are people who still hold grudges against you, make an effort to reach out to them and apologize. Forgiving yourself is easier if there's no one else blaming you.

Explore beyond your horizon

You now have a guarantee of freedom, so what's stopping you from touring the horizons that have been put before you? Take advantage of this new freedom to explore the world and discover opportunities for yourself. Try out ventures that you have been scared to try. Now's your chance to take as many risks as possible. You may fail at some, but consider them lessons for your future endeavors.

You can expand your horizon whether you're stuck at home, stuck with a job, or are a business owner. Think of ways to expand yourself within your field. Do not be scared to think outside the box. Do things that you would do if you knew there was no chance of you failing.

Picture yourself as a bird soaring in the sky. Take charge, take control and grow beyond your mind's obstacles.

Escape destructive relationships

The people around us might be the major barriers to our success. Sometimes, these people do not knowingly wish us bad. But they do not contribute to our progress in any way. If you have goals to achieve, it would be best to surround yourself with like-minded people.

People around us can influence our mindset immensely. If you are surrounded by people who are content with mediocrity, sooner or later, you would begin to question yourself, or see no reason for all the hard work you're putting into your expansion. Do yourself good and find people that motivate you instead of trying to drag you down to their depths.

Avoiding these people doesn't mean you think they are terrible people. They just aren't compatible with you and that's okay.

Defeat the addictions that trap you

You alone know the addictions that are limiting your freedom, growth, or expansion. These addictions may be in the form of things, people, or even habits. These addictions can enslave our minds and pull us away from our goals.

Once you have identified these goals, start cutting them off in bits till you're completely clean and free.
