We may have physical or mental limitations that stop us from giving our all to achieve our goals. These limitations might be in the form of fear- fear of failure. This is the most common obstacle that makes a lot of people live as a shadow of themselves for a greater portion of their lives.
The butterflies serve as reminders
The divine realm sends butterflies in your path to remind you of so many things. First, they want you to realize that you have a mission to fulfill on earth, and you have to discover that mission as soon as possible. You only get one shot at life, and you can't afford to waste any part of it in indecision or skepticism.
Secondly, they want you to remember that you are a champion. Champions do not shiver and retreat on sighting obstacles. They see obstacles and challenges as an opportunity to prove themselves.
If the decisions you have to make seem too risky, remind yourself that you're big enough to face whatever outcome it brings. And, you're not alone, you've got the divine realm behind you to give you moral support.
They also want you to remember that a majority of these obstacles that limit our progress are only a figment of our imaginations. Our minds tend to exaggerate the intensity of something that appears as a problem, and we are, by default, programmed to take a step back on sight of limitations.
However, we do have the ability to reprogram our minds to start thinking and acting like the champions that we are.
Believe in yourself
You have to believe in yourself enough to know you are capable of achieving your dreams. You must know it and feel within yourself that you have all it takes to succeed in life. Your mentality matters; your self-esteem does too.
Rebuke all negative thoughts that try to dampen your confidence. It's also important that you begin the process as soon as possible. Once you begin to take these steps, you'll realize how possible the process is, and your confidence will be improved.
You also have to realize that wanting a better life for yourself requires you to act as much as you're thinking. Create your formula for success. The same formula might not provide the same result it did for the previous person who used it.
You're a different person, are you not? Figure out a pattern that works for you, and stick to it like your worth depends on it because it does.
Stay close to people who believe in you
Surrounding yourself with positive people could be just the right thing you need to succeed in life. Research shows that our mind is influenced by the quality of the people we associate with.
When you stay around people that motivate you and believe you can achieve great things, chances are, you'll much sooner begin to realize your worth, and also start taking action to improve this worth.
These people can also serve as a support system for you when you get kicked down by extreme difficulties. They would help you nurture yourself, and reimburse you with all the resources you need to get back on your feet and get back out there.
With the advancement of technology, finding digital support groups, like-minded communities, and accountability partners has become easier than ever. The most powerful benefit of technology to your goal pursuit is the opportunity to connect and interact with successful people.
You can listen to people who inspire you and even connect with them on social media for mentorship. You can make yourself an active member of a social media community that aligns with your goals, and if you play your cards right, you can get resources and opportunities from these people that you find online.
Never give up on yourself
Pursuing your dreams is a journey, and sometimes, the journey becomes more tasking and longer than we expect. You will be tempted to give up or throw in the towel. When thoughts of quitting come to your mind, shove them out.
Remind yourself that you are a champion and champions don't quit. You already knew there were going to be mistakes, disappointments, and failures along the line, so why chicken out now?
