The presence of divine whiffs is an indication of the absence of negativity. The presence of divinity also connotes our freedom from negative forces that are standing as a stumbling block to our happiness, success, and progress. These whiffs indicate that we are cleansed internally and externally.

Cleansing rituals are common in several religions of the world. We understand the importance of internal and external cleansing, especially when the presence or impact of negative forces has been suspected.

Mental cleansing

We need to let go of thoughts and emotions that are holding us back from mental progress and begin the journey to rejuvenation.

We need to perform a thorough weeding of our psyche and eliminate bad vibes so that positivity can bloom and blossom. This is also known as a consciousness cleanse. The major aim of this practice is to let go, and let grow.

A thorough cleansing has immense benefits. You'd notice how your sleep routine would improve after now. That's not all, people around would testify about how friendlier you've become. Yup, cleansing can be a mood booster as well. It helps stabilize your mental health, giving room for healthier relationships and internal peace that previously eluded you because your heart was filled with so much negativity.

Cleansing also can boost your cognition as well. This would lower your chances of developing mental defects, especially if you're getting older. Purification also helps you to achieve a deeper sense of spirituality. It gives you balance and direction in your chosen course of life and also eliminates whatever obstacle is clouding your sense of reasoning or judgment.

You may get a whiff of divine essence after you have conducted the cleansing ritual by yourself. Acts of cleansing may include fasting, charity, celibacy, sacrifice, baptism, and cleansing baths. These, of course, will be followed by intensive prayer and reflection.

Perform cleansing as often as necessary

A cleansing is necessary when we feel spiritually or mentally blocked. When we are burdened by disturbing thoughts and a series of unpleasant events, cleansing will help dispel all forms of bad energy from our hearts and minds. It is also believed to free us from curses or guilt that may have clouded our existence.

Internal cleansing is just as relevant as external cleansing. Our minds can harbor negative essence, especially if we've drifted far away from the divine realm that fills us with positivity. Forces fighting us from within can have more detrimental effects than external forces do.

Our spirit guardians know when we are weak from excess luggage, they'd perform the cleansing on our behalf so that we can be free to renew our bond with them. The whiffs of divine essence you're perceiving are proof that your spiritual purging has commenced.

Sometimes, the cleansing that needs to be done is our job to do.

Religions such as Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, and Judaism have suggested cleansing rituals that believers are either mandated or advised to participate in occasionally to rid themselves of negativity.

The Muslims, however, perform more cleansing rituals than any other religion in the world. They are mandated to perform ablutions before engaging in almost any activity. Some religions (Sikhism and Hinduism for example) perform cleansing rituals for their dead before they are buried.

Sometimes, cleansing rituals are not necessarily carried out to dispel negativity or regain lost purity, but to attain a higher sense of purification that allows one to transcend to the next level of spirituality.
