It would be difficult for us to experience any form of peace, progress, clarity, or happiness when our minds are congested with negative thoughts and emotions.

The divine realm puts fluffy clouds in the sky for us to see and be reminded that we need to de-clutter our minds and let go of unnecessary thoughts that stand in our mental well-being.

A cluttered mind is usually fogged and clogged. This fog will make you unable to see past your current state.

Most of your actions and thoughts will be centered on your short-sightedness and lack of clarity. For your mind and soul to be filled with blessings from the divine realm, you would have to clear out the unnecessary luggage that you harbor within.

Negative emotions can form a mental cluster

The fog in our minds primarily consists of negative emotions. We allow ourselves to be overwhelmed by guilt, sadness, and grief and trade our happiness for these negative emotions.

Our minds are just like a cupboard. If we let too many things stay in them, webs would begin to grow. And, you'll find it difficult to navigate its content unless you clear it out. If your brain is cluttered, you would begin to feel like it is in overdrive.

Your performance, coherence, and cognitive abilities at this point would no longer be what they used to be.

At this point, your brain begins to wave a red flag. And, even if you refuse to see this flag, the divine realm would. And they form these clouds in the sky as an alarm that it is time to declutter your mind.

A cluster of physical events and activities can also affect the state of your mental health. Anything present in bulk or not very useful is considered a cluster. A choked schedule, endless routines, excessive demands, and plenty of appointments can also be the reason for your mental fog.

Find the source

When you can identify the origination of this clutter, you'd have an idea of how to disperse the load. You should look out for signs such as mental fatigue, constant headaches, inability to perform mental tasks, poor concentration, and a bad sleeping routine.

Try to decipher if the cause of the clutter is either mental or physical. With this, you can decide on the appropriate approach to use. Meditation, yoga, and mindfulness can help you clear every form of mental cluster.

You should look within yourself and identify the emotions that are hindering your mental stability. Address them duly so you can have space for positive thoughts.

Physical clusters are easier to deal with. All you have to do is clear out your schedule and allow your mind some time to rest. Even if you cannot afford to take some time off, work around your schedule and find a vacation period.

It doesn't have to be a fancy trip or a long journey. So long as you get to relax your mind and clear out the fog, you'll experience a renewed form of inspiration, joy, and fulfillment.

Put your thoughts down on paper

Studies show that keeping a journal is a vital means of arranging your thoughts. Mental fog can cause your thought processes to be disrupted. With a journal, you'll be able to document all your thoughts and experiences.

You can transfer all the emotions in your heart into that piece of paper. Use your pen as the funnel to drain your mind of negativity. After you document these emotions, take a deep breath. You'll experience a new wave of peace after that.

With a journal, you would be able to keep track of all important dates and schedules that may be lost in your jumbled thoughts. Your journal may either be a notebook, or a mobile app. A mobile app is a preferable option because it allows you to set auto-reminders.

Talk about it

Find friends and family whom you find trustworthy and confide in them. Talking about what burdens your mind will help you let go. If you confide in these people, they would offer you some advice that would help you pull through and move on.

If possible, talk to people who have experienced the same situation as you. Or, better yet, talk to a professional therapist who is trained to help people declutter their minds and scale through the current wave of negative emotions that are drowning them.
