Reincarnation goes by many names such as rebirth and transmigration. It may not be an uncommon concept, but it is quite a controversial topic. Many traditions argue back and forth about the ideology that a person may have had more than one lifetime.
Today, we'll be siding with those who agree with this concept. A person who has reincarnated may or may not have any knowledge of their past life. Most people say it's better this way. The mental disturbance that comes with having memory of things that nobody knows about can be quite overwhelming.
If you have no memory of this, your spirit guardians would look into your heart and determine if you have the mental grit to handle this information. If you do, they will send you different clues accompanied by shimmers, tingles, chills, or goosebumps.
Some people believe reincarnation is possible even without death. This ideology revolves around the concept that a person who survives a near-death experience or any traumatic experience can be referred to as a new person. However, most people wave this concept aside.
Other signs that you've lived a life before
As mentioned earlier, the divine realm may send you hints and clues about your past life. But these clues may only send you into further confusion if there is no one to walk you through the process. There is no manual for those who have lived a life before, but at least, it helps to be fully aware of your situation.
When you've had a previous life, you would struggle with recurring cases of déjà vu. This does not mean that your old life was a direct replica of your current one. The Deja Vu is mostly triggered by memory flashes and mental figments.
You are not reassured by the presence of family and friends in your life and you constantly feel out of place. Your mind is uneasy and you feel the need to find your true home. No matter how much you do things to seek fulfillment, there always seems to be something off or something missing. The worst part is that you can hardly place a finger on this missing piece.
This would leave you feeling displaced and confused. Some people fall into depression and become a shell of themselves.
Talk to a therapist
Sometimes, the old memories of our past lives can be so overwhelming that they begin to torment us. Do not let yourself be crushed by this load of thoughts.
Talk to a hypnotherapist. They will put you through a process called the 'past life regression therapy'. This process would help you appreciate the beauty of your current life and stop fixating on the memories of the old.
Expert therapists say that this therapy technique is not compatible with everyone's mental state. It only works if the individual in question has specific issues or emotions that they would like to address. Also, if the individual is not completely open to recovery, it would be impossible to jolt these suppressed memories.
Keep a journal
Keeping a journal could turn out to be an exciting decision. You can document all the memories that are surging back and forth. If you intend to visit the therapist for regression therapy, then this journal would give the therapist something to work with.
Take advantage of this second shot at life
Instead of beating yourself up and feeling like a victim, why don't you flip the coin over and look at the other side? Consider your life as a second chance. The universe has found you worthy to enjoy a second shot at life. You should live this life to the fullest.
This is your time to be adventurous. Accomplish all the missions that your old self was unable to accomplish. If you think you have no idea what these missions are, pay close attention to your guts and you'll hear that voice nudging you toward a specific line of action.
Whatever you do, ensure that you do not waste this second chance that you have been given. There is no guarantee of a third, so make this count.
