You're Experiencing a Spiritual Awakening
For a person to be spiritually awakened, they have to undergo a transformative process that broadens their sense of truth or reality. The divine realm is the primary orchestrator of a spiritual awakening. It could be that your current reality is only a shade of what it should be, or you may be ignorantly suffering the consequences of non-exposure.
They may be trying to get you to explore the horizons before you, make you leave an abusive relationship, or get you to accept the new phase of life they have set before you. Whichever the case, they will not stop until your mind and soul are fully awakened and you can visualize life from a better scope.
Some people refer to a spiritual awakening as a spiritual ascension. This is a more practical explanation for the concept. When you experience this ascension, you transcend from your current state to a higher position, and from this new position, you can look down on the previous one and begin to question all your old values and beliefs.
You will now be baffled at the mediocrity of your old life. The divine realm orchestrates this process so that you do not have to spend any more time leaving in your old condition. But, not to worry, all of the time you have wasted will be compensated for.
The controversy
Some spirituality experts say that a spiritual awakening is a resurrection call. They believe that life without the presence of a higher essence is equivalent to death. So when a person undergoes this transformative process, they transcend from a state of spiritual death to life.
Not a lot of people agree with this phenomenon. The divine realm offers you a chance to be alive in them and be filled by their essence. However, you also have the will to deviate from them. They want you to have life to the fullest, but at the same time, you have the power to choose what you feel is best.
You will no doubt suffer the consequences of any choice you make. But, when you are ready to be transformed and reunited with the divine realm, they would welcome you back home with open arms.
Does spiritual awakening happen for everyone?
Unfortunately, not everyone is opportune to have a feel of this experience in their lifetime. For those who do, there is no defined time frame for when it is to happen. However, you have a higher chance of undergoing spiritual awakening if you just experienced a major change in your life recently.
Spiritual awakening is a subjective process. It can either be early or late in life, fast or rapid, influenced by the divine realm, or self-orchestrated. But, a common occurrence in almost everyone's scenario is the sudden wave or rush of internal sensations.
You may not find these sensations to be comforting, but you should simply consider them a part of the process.
Grow your knowledge of spirituality
You should learn more about the divine realm and all of its proceedings. It doesn't matter if you're keen on religion or not.
You should attend retreats, connect with a community of spiritually inclined people, or even find a mentor to help expand your current knowledge. This new knowledge would help strengthen your faith in the divine and keep you focused on your journey to transformation.
Reflect on your old and new life
Now that you have become a new person, take some time to reflect on who you were and who you have become. Take note of the contrast between the two and clear out every channel that would lead you back to your old ways.
This reflection period can also help you meditate on the journey of transformation and make you realize how much it means to your growth and evolution.
Accept the transformation
If the divine realm has found you worthy of salvation and is working on your evolution, the least you could do is surrender your mind and allow them to do what they deem necessary. Approach the new changes with an open mind and do not, for once, have negative thoughts about their intentions for your life.
